About us

New technology poses challenges which cannot be resolved solely by legal scholarship focused on particular technological contexts repeated across each field of disruption. We need to understand the challenges through a broader historical, legal and policy frame with close attention to developments in other jurisdictions and genuine cross-disciplinarity. This will require a strong culture of collaboration to build flexible and resilient legal and regulatory systems that accommodate ongoing change and encourage appropriate innovation while providing appropriate governance and oversight and promoting equality and inclusiveness.
