New AIJA Podcast episode on the 2022 ‘AI Decision-Making and the Courts – A Guide for Judges, Tribunal Members and Court Administrators’ report

Speaking on the AIJA Podcast recently, Hub Director, Professor Lyria Bennett Moses and Former FLIP Stream Director, Professor Michael Legg discussed the 2022 ‘AI Decision-Making and the Courts – A Guide for Judges, Tribunal Members and Court Administrators’ report. The publication was created as a joint research project between Australian Institute for Judicial Administration (AIJA), UNSW Law and Justice, UNSW Allens Hub and FLIP Stream.

As two of the report's authors, Professor Moses and Professor Legg talk through the kinds of AI and decision-making tools currently in use, and then follow into a discussion of the the possible challenges and opportunities these tools can and do present within the context of courts and tribunals.
